Summertime buzz

Before and After....I think we aged him by at least 3 years by buzzing his head. O'kay so it's not a scalp/bald buzz but it's the shortest he's every had. I've been taking him to a kids haircutting place for the past few haircuts but his hair grows so fast he was going every 2-3 months. Since I'm so cheap we figured a buzz would be just as good. He was actually MUCH better behaved for us than when we go to the stylist. He sat on the stool and didn't move very much the entire time. Whenever we ask him what happened to his hair he says, "momma cut it off".
*Other Noah moments* I know I am a proud parent and this is very much bragging, but I can't help it he's so dang cute and smart! The other day Adam and I were in our bedroom and Noah was playing in our closet and we heard him counting my shoes. I knew he could count to 5 because when Leah is cooking he helps her count the cups of oats for the cookies, but then he kept going, "six, seven, eight, nine, ten". (No, I don't have 10 pairs of shoes, he was counting each shoe) He recognizes his colors, about 10 letters, shapes, and he talks really well. If he keeps this up we won't be able to help him with his homework after 1st grade. Sorry about the bragging, but I have to dote on him once in awhile.

He looks like a lil' man for sure!! I wonder if his curl will come back as tight, remember when we cut Tyson's when he was little?
You guys definitely need to come back down and go to the lake so we can go. Plus, you don't have to worry about it being too cold down here.

He is really cute, I like his hair both ways. You can brag all you want, he sounds really smart. I don't think we give kids enough credit and realize how much they pick up on.

Oh my goodness!!! Where is my little baby with the curly hair? He definitely looks older, but just as cute. You have every right to brag. That is what a mother is suppose to do. Meg may not know her educational things, but dang it she can blow bubbles in the pool with her whole face in the water and kick her feet. AND still come up smiling. ha ha ha Good to see how cute he is, sad to see him grow up so fast.

He is adorable with curls or without! Have you got him a kid ski yet? Josh is looking into one for Sophie.

So cute! His face does look different with the hair cut. It's the parental right to brag about their kids! It's great that he's so smart. He'll be ahead of the game and ready for anything. You guys are great parents!

Wow!! Where did baby Noah go? He's adorable. Now he's a little man. You should be proud. That's a big step in a mom's life.
When Heidi cut Grant's curls off my Dad was the one who had a hard time with it. Ha ha.

Very cute, I like it! Please feel free to brag, I look at it as journal keeping if you write it on your blog you have record of when he learned it! :)

brag away! How can you help it. We keep telling Charlotte that she's backwards, but apparently competition isn't the best motivation for a kid:( BTW he looks great with the buzz!
