Stamp Trouble, Puerto Rican Night and The Zoo

The Green Hulk......Adam and I have been trying to finish up some overdue projects around our house, and since I finally had a Saturday off we decided to tackle painting our bedroom. Noah was being very supportive and 'helping' the best he could. He finally got sick of watching us paint decided to go play downstairs. I checked on him a few times and he was being a good boy playing with his toys. Then about 20 minutes later Noah comes running in to our room saying, "Clean off my hands please". When I looked up I saw my green boy and realized he had been in the laundry room playing with my stamp pads. I think this is the first mischievous thing he has done. At least he picked the color that matched his shirt. I guess that's what we get for letting him tend himself. Puerto Rican Night......Matt (Rachelle's boyfriend) went to Puerto Rico on his mission and so we made him make us some traditional food from there. It was nice not having to cook and the food was good. He came over the next day and made us some incredible banana bread. I could get used to this. (It hasn't happened since) Hogle Zoo...... Adam and I had Monday off and since we've been spending every spare minute doing projects we decided we'd better do something fun with Noah, so we went to the zoo. There weren't a lot of animals out because is was cold so that was a bummer. Luckily we have a pass so we didn't really care. While we were leaving the Rhinos I told Noah to put his hands in his pockets to keep them warm. A few steps later he ran in to the rock wall (scratched his face) and then fell flat on his face (scratched it again). He couldn't catch himself because his hands were in his pockets...... :( Oops.

Way to go Noah! Your mom and dad now have experienced 10 minutes of my day. ha ha Just think, the ink will come off. At least he didn't cut open his play pen/crib like mine. Good to see the little butt getting into some mischief. It will do his mom and dad some good. I was serious about sending him down and letting Meg and Madi teach him a thing or two about getting into trouble.

That is seriously cute - both the paint and the hands in the pocket.

Noah is so cute, glad he had some fun... sorry you had to clean up. Very funny about the hands in the pockets. Reminds me of when Amber and I held Jenny's hands as we jumped off a platform... she broke her nose because she couldn't catch herself. Oops

What color did you paint your room? I'm doing my laundry room today. Funny how your ambition comes and goes with paint, huh?
