Mother's Day, Cousins, Brats, Angels

My mom, all my sisters and all the cousins came to visit us last weekend. Here are a few highlights from the trip.
Noah, Madi, and Meg showing off their money wishes at the temple square fountain.
Late night snack with cousins. I tried making these chocolate bowls for the kids and after a few minor glitches they turned out great.
The naked/undie cousins. It wasn't even that hot, but for some reason as soon as it's warm enough to go outside the clothes come off.
One of Noah's favorite things to do - watch movies and eat popcorn, and doing it with cousins makes it even better.
My mom trying to catch a water snake while sacrificing Grants security and comfort.
Madi, Meg and Noah
Brooks and Ava fighting over Rachelle's breakfast.
Noah admiring a flower on Temple Square with his new buzz. He has quite an imagination and is my little buddy. At times he can be the absolute worst whiny brat, but then turn around and be my angel. He puts up with a lot and does quite well coping with the babies.....and his crazy mom.
Ava is 11 months now and is getting better and better at walking. She has 2 teeth on the bottom and is working on the top 2 these past couple of days.
Grant is 6 months old and lazy as ever. He LOVES his mom and wouldn't mind lounging on me all day if I'd let him. He got 2 teeth last week and can scream in octaves I've never heard before.
This is Real Life - Noah laughing at the crying babies with a toy in hand, Grant furious, and Ava mad because I wouldn't let her get into things.
These little people are the reasons I love my job as their mother. We definitely have our "moments", but for the most part we all manage to have a little fun each day and love being together. Hopefully, soon we can include our daddy in those "moments" and fun times.

Hooray! I have been wanting to see a good post from you, and I get the mother load. Your kids are so cute. That's a direct compliment to you, by the way. You take care of them so well. I LOVE noah's buzz. It represents a new age of the family..... the cousins are big enough for buzzes. I may give kate one for the occasion. I can't believe Ava is almost 1! That's nuts. Are you doing anything special for the big day? We love you and miss you. PS Joe is sure that now since he's started praying (forgive us for taking so long) you and Adam will live together soon. He thinks the big guy was waiting on him or something...

This is Adam - still not worthy of my own log-in. I can't wait to squeeze my cute little stinkers. Thanks for the pictures, lover.

Luke and Grant would get along juuust fine. Eat, be carried around by mom all day, cut some teeth and see how loud/high they can screech. So cute! Sorry your house still hasn't sold!

Look at those cute little farts. I really need to get copies of all these pictures. May be you could put whatever pictures you have of my children from the past onto a CD and give to mom when she brings Rachelle up.

We had a lot of fun. The girls love their Noah! and Ava! and Grant! and Aunt Summer! and even their Uncle Adam! :) Thanks for letting us come and play.

...and the house looks clean??? You are, as I've said before, the MOTHER OF THE YEAR. Little cousins should always hand out in the undies. Freddie and Charlotte are already there.

What fun and such adorable kids!! We too keep praying you can get your family together again soon. Wish we were closer to see you more often. Maybe we'll get another California vacation sooner than we planned!

That is so funny that they thought it was warm enough to run around naked, I was freezing! I hope you get some great action on the house as school winds down!

Love the new pictures. The one of them crying truly respresents what daily life is like with kids. Crazy yet fun at the same time. Never a dull moment that's for sure.

Damn if those sweet girl's were my cousins I wouldn't be able to keep my hands off them. Let's just say we would spend hours at a time behind closed doors. Probably playing doctor. Don't worry I will be very thorough, and gentle
