This Old House

Our house has really outdated paint and wallpaper, but when you close your eyes it doesn't matter. However, there are a few things that don't go away when you close your eyes.........like this dangerous banister. All of my kids could easily squeeze through the slots if they wanted. In fact, sticking their toes and heads through is one of their favorite games
Another architectural disaster of the seventies was no ceiling lights. None of our bedrooms or living rooms have lights. I guess everyone wanted to show off their beautiful lamps and disco balls. We took Mary's advice and hung Christmas lights up in the rooms to help with the darkness.
It's 1 o'clock in the afternoon and we're still in our P.J.'s. We're delaying the dreaded task of going to Costco for diapers. Don't get me wrong, we LOVE Costco, but not during December and especially a December weekend.

I HATE it when there's no ceiling lights! What a dumb idea!!

Your kids are so cute--I can't believe that Grant has caught up to Ava already.

Our Sandy house had no lights in the ceilings except for a really ugly one over the dinging area.
