A Real Spring

Noah peeking over the neighbors fence.  He talks to all the neighbors when he's jumping.  Ava jumping bottomless.  She had an accident in her panties just prior to this.  She struggles with the potty training when she's outside.
I love Spring when it's actually Spring-like.  You know blossoming trees, sunshine, flowers blooming, etc.  I remember last year, when I was a single mother, Adam would call and tell me what nice weather he was enjoying, and I would have to tell him it was snowing outside.  Of course, come summer time, you Salt Lakers can brag about the beautiful weather, but one thing is for sure, snow is MAY is unforgivable!!  Anyway, we've been enjoying the great outdoors as much as possible.  Adam just got our grass seed planted so it's a little more difficult to run around outside, but we'll deal with it so we can have grass in a few weeks.

Grant playing in the dirt.  Newly planted grass in front of Grant and newly planted veggies behind him.

See proof, we have little baby radishes popping their little heads out.  It's so exciting when things start to germinate.  We'll see if we can get a garden to grow this year, since the kids think the garden boxes are their sand boxes.

Preview of our playhouse.  I'm almost done painting, finally.  Finished the ceiling and now just working on the yellow walls.  I was feeling brave at the paint store.  I'm not a huge fan of yellow, but thought the playhouse needed to be cheery and bright, so we tried yellow.

Charlotte and Freddie inherited an injured baby duck.  They came over tonight for dinner and brought the little duckling with them.  The kids tortured it (unintentionally) with LOTS of love and attention.

Spring is glorious. I just wish we could join forces more often. Kate and Brooke helped me harvest some greens this week. The sweet looks on their faces while holding the soft duck:-) Thank you.

This is the first weekend we've had when it hasn't been freezing. It is SO NICE!!!

That is the cutest little fluffy duckling! We had a mallard wandering around in our neighborhood on Saturday and Madelyn was hoping it was there to stay.

Love your playhouse!
