Cozumel, Mexico

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Mexico. Yes, a FEW. We have a lot more, but I'm editing some of the blurry ones. I'll post a narrative about the trip a little later, but right now Noah thinks he NEEDS to go to the park. OK so here's the low down on our Mexico trip. First of all, we try to plan a vacation everytime we finish the Book of Mormon and the past year or two we've really slacked so the night before we left we were frantically reading the last couple chapters of Moroni. Whew....we finished, so we were able to go. We spent 6 days in Cozumel Mexico about 2 weeks ago. We had four flights total and Noah slept through 2 and did great on the other two. We bought him a fish encyclopedia book and a new tractor to keep him busy. Our hotel was an all-inclusive deal so all our food was included, along with a kids room, kayaks, a few swimming pools, and a few other activities. Noah LOVES the water so he thought we should swim 24/7. We swam probably 4-5 hours a day which wasn't enough in his eyes but plenty for us. He would wake up in the middle of the night and go to the door and say, "Go outside, go swimming..please". He also thought it was prett cool to swim with the fish and feed them bread. One of the days we went to a park called Chankanaab and did a dolphin excursion. We got to play with Chaac (Chuck) the dolphin. It was pretty cool to kiss, hug, pet, and play with the dolphin. Noah thought it was awesome. Now his play dolphin from grandma Linie is named Chuck. My sweet husband stayed at the hotel to play with Noah, so I could go scuba diving. Both dives were nice. It's been a long time since I've been on a decent dive. We were spoiled in Guam. Well, that's long enough. If you want more details you'll just have to ask or call us. We had a lot of fun.

Wow! Good ol' Mexico. I remember going to Chankannab, but I don't remember dolphins. It looks like you had a great time. What a great incentive to read the BOM. I ought to use that one for us, (not that we need an incentive, uh hmmmm) Can't believe how grown up he is.

p.s. Thanks Adam for the phone call for Madi's birthday. She thought that was great!

Looks like you had a blast! We need a vacation like that right now, but after buying a house I think we are stuck for awhile. :) I can't believe how big Noah is getting. Isn't it strange how they grow? Talk to you soon. Love ya :)

What great pictures! You are giving that kid one heck of a fun childhood. I am a little jealous.

Yeah, I remember snorkeling in Chankannab, too, but we only saw a few fish. I guess I'm going to have to go back now!

I would love to go back there. I bet it brought back some fun memories. :) I don't remember the dolphins either though. Your pictures are so priceless.
