San Francisco

This past weekend the Yangs and us went to San Francisco. We went to a beach right next to the Golden Gate Bridge. The sun was out, only a few clouds and perfect temperature.
Adam and Noah watching the waves.
Fat baby......Lionel. Isn't he adorable. I love squeezing his legs. I'm not quite sure why he looks so angry, concerned, viscous?
Mary, Charlotte, Noah and Freddie playing in the waves. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and waves.
Noah and Charlotte on the pier at the Golden Gate Bridge.
Ava getting buried by her uncle Min. Now she's doesn't have to bent over to eat the sand.
Crab fisherman
Me and Grant. Nice face, I know. The wind was blowing, so I was trying to keep my hair out of my face.
Even with 4 adults, it takes forever to get 6 kids under the age 4 out of the car and ready to go somewhere. We had fun at the beach, and got to eat some really good clam chowder and sea food as well. DUKTAC: One of the most interesting Golden Gate Bridge facts is that only eleven workers died during construction, a new safety record for the time. In the 1930s, bridge builders expected 1 fatality per $1 million in construction costs, and builders expected 35 people to die while building the Golden Gate Bridge. One of the bridge's safety innovations was a net suspended under the floor. This net saved the lives of 19 men during construction, and they are often called the members of the "Half Way to Hell Club." Another fact about the bridge that I thought was cool is that the bridge is being painted continuously. They start at one end and by the time they get to the other side it's time to start over.

I took Anna to San Fransisco last year. She would be SO jealous if she heard you went. She is in love with the city and wants to live there. SO glad you got to go. You're what, 2 hours from it now? Awesome!

I haven't checked blogs in such a long time. I'm happy to see that you get to all be together now, and love the pictures and videos of all of your adventures. You must just run all day. I don't know if you guys ever saw Danny, our baby, but he is in kindergarten now and was pulled out of the drawing to be in full day so I'm home alone quite a bit, it seems so weird and very different from what your day must be like.

Also, thanks for the little history lesson on the Golden Gate- that is so awesome. I love little tidbits like that. Hope all is well! Love you guys :)
