Stuff and Adam's 33!

Ava's trampoline hair

We're just about ready to plant grass.  We got this big pile of dirt dumped on the driveway (our lot is a pie shaped lot so we can't get any machinery to the back yard) a few days ago.  The kids think it's their new huge sand pile.  Now you know why my kids get so dirty.

We went to the Jelly Belly Factory for our preschool field trip today.  It was really interesting and the kids thought it was cool.  Noah really liked the 'robots' that make the jelly bellies.
Everyone had to wear these hats during the tour.  We couldn't take pictures in the factory so this is all you get.
.

Jelly Belly John Wayne - for my dad.  They have tons of these all over the factory.  Pretty neat.

After the tour you can go to the sample counter and sample whatever flavor you want.  We sampled the fudge (yes, they make fudge) and some odd flavors of Jelly Bellies.  We didn't sample the yucky flavors like baby wipes or boogers.

Today was Adam's 33rd birthday!  I was a dud wife and didn't really do anything special.  We did have a fantastic dinner of king crab legs.  Anyway, this is the special project the kids have been working on.  They gave it to him this morning.  Noah's been asking every morning if it's daddies birthday so he can give him his surprise.  He was so excited to finally show him.  It took so many days to do, because we only did one color and one painting technique (finger flicking, syringe spraying - very technical) each day. We didn't want it to be all brown, you know that color that happens when you let the kids mix all the colors together.  It's a huge canvas, so I'm not quite sure where it's going yet.  Noah's pretty proud of it though.
One thing I do know, is that I am so lucky to be married to the most amazing man!  Happy Birthday, My Love.  I love you more than you will ever know.
