Can I just tell you how easy it is to fly without children...........amazing!  Our flight to Fiji was delayed 3 hours, so we didn't leave until 3 am.  We met a lot of fellow LDS travelers: a new missionary couple just heading to Fiji, a missionary serving in Georgia on his way home to Fiji, a member from San Diego going home to visit his family and another couple on their way to pick up their son on his mission in Fiji.  It was fun to talk with them, and it helped pass the time.
Our first surprise - driving on the left side of the road and steering wheel on the right.  Good thing Adam was driving, because I was turned around the whole time.  I still don't understand how they maneuver the roundabouts.
Our little Hyundai was a stick as well, so Adam had to shift with his left hand.  It's all backwards!
Our hotel was in Pacific Harbor, about 2 1/2 hours from Nadi (the airport).
The lobby
Our room wasn't extravagant, but it was nice enough.

Our view

I bought a gorillapod and wireless remote so I could take some pictures of us together, but I didn't end up using it as much as I thought.  Actually, I only used the remote once because I was dumb and left it on after this first time, and the battery ran out.  Oops.  This was our first experiment with the remote.  Whenever I took the camera outside, the lens kept fogging up, so a lot of my pictures are a little hazy.  Don't know the cure for that.

(We were both laughing in this photo, because this was after he tried to lick me - see photo above)
There was a lot of this (details to come), because the reason for this trip was to celebrate our
{10th anniversary} on the 29th of September.  Alright, I'll spare you the details.

Glad you were able to go celebrate in style. Miss your family and someday we will get the chance to catch up!

I love that last picture-but why are Adam's eyes open?! I didn't know you were going (I guess I should say "went") to Fiji!!! So fun! Lucky bozos! And by the way, you said your hotel wasn't extravagent...it looks about 1,000 times nicer than the hotel I stayed in in Fiji. And I'm not exaggerating! So fun to share your trip via the blog.
