April

Adam was letting the kids out of the back before he pulled into the garage and forgot to close the back.  As we pulled into the garage we heard a 'pop' and I immediately knew what happened.  The back glass shattered. Ugh!!  That turned into an expensive FHE (we were on our way back from a FHE activity)
Noah participated in track and field this year.  It's a pretty short season (2 months of practice and 3 track meets - supposed to be 4, but 1 got rained out).  He did the hurdles and shot put at each meet.  His best 55m hurdles time was 11 seconds and his best shot put was 23'6".
Ava got to bring home the baby chicks that they are raising at school for a night.  She lost this privilege previously, and was completely devastated, but she earned it back and was so happy.  Parenting is hard.
Everyone loved them.  Now to convince dad that we really need chickens of our own.
Showcase night at school.  Ava testing dad on his math facts.
Grant's turn to show off his school work.
Lots and lots of lettuce to eat.
General conference at the cabin.
Adam's 41st birthday was conference weekend too.
It rained a lot while we were there (no surprise there), but we managed to get in a little hike between rain storms and conference sessions.

We love this beautiful lake.
Ava had to do a school project on the gold rush, so we made a quick (due the next day) trip to Sutters Mill for a tour.
Spring in California is beautiful.
The kids and I drove to Hurricane for Easter (Adam joined us for a few days at the end).  Grandma Linie has this cute baby bunny that got held THE ENTIRE TIME we were there.
Sand sledding at Sand Hallow.

Grant's egg - Babe Ruth
Noah's egg - Captain Underpants
Ava's egg - Cyclops
Georgia was glued to Ava's hip the whole time we were there.  Ava loved it and added 2 more more 3 year olds most days as well.  I just realized they are brushing the bunny.  :)
Dinner at the Pizza Noodle with half of the crew.
Ava and her 3 - 3 year olds.  She made lunch for them and played with them all day.  She's a good little momma hen.
My mom's big annual egg hunt with the extended family.
Noah making homemade root beer.

Barbie heaven at aunt Beth's house.
Wilson egg hunt at uncle Luke's house.
Easter Sunday at the grandma Connie's.  Finally got to meet baby Marco too.
Kyle thinks my kids are deprived because I rarely buy them donuts, so he insisted we get donuts one morning.  My kids didn't complain about it. :)
The boys went to the Easter car show.
'Eastering' AKA fun at the ranch the Saturday before Easter.
My parents with ALL of their grandkids.
Our eggs.  Mine was the Brown Eggs Matter. Ha.  I thought that was so clever.
The Easter bunny didn't leave eggs out since we already had 2 big egg hunts.  Just some snacks and a couple little things.  He did bring battleship and it's been a hit since then.
Activity days in April - 1st activity the girls made these flower headbands, centerpieces and prepared for the mother/daughter activity.  2nd activity was our mother/daughter activity.  The girls prepared their moms dinner (sandwiches, chips, veggies and fruit) and we played a 'how well do you know your mom/daughter' game.  The girls and moms had a great time.
These florescent flowers always surprise me every Spring.  They grow along the sidewalk at a neighbors house.  Amazingly bright.
Flowers and green everywhere.
