March

Wow, crazy to think March was only a few weeks ago.  It seems like an eternity ago, and it was a LONG month.  My winter garden produced soooooo much lettuce.  I threw out pounds and pounds of lettuce.
Back when it was just Noah and I doing homeschool. He made beeswax candles for a history lesson.
Turkeys struttin' their stuff on our driveway.
I wasn't nervous about the pandemic at all until I went to Costco and all the shelves were empty.  I went ahead and stocked up my freezer just in case.  Too slow on the TP though.  Good thing the Costco near the cabin is fully stocked, we just get our stuff there and bring it home.
Covid-19 hasn't really phased my kids at all, so it was good for them to see the empty shelves to realize how people panic during stuff like this.
3.14 - Pie day with banana cream pie.
St. Patrick's day started off with a Krispy Kreme delivery.
Traditional Irish dinner of corned beef and Irish soda bread.  During dinner we learned all about St. Patrick and how this holiday is all made up and kind of ridiculous.
Since Adam started working from home, we decided to quarantine at the cabin.  Always lots of bonfires up there in the spring.

Finally caught a fish!!! Ava was the lucky fisherman.  She was so proud and now wants to fish all the time.
Noah had a captive audience while gutting the fish.
Took a little drive to the Shasta Dam.  This was right when we received the shelter-in-place orders.  It's quite easy to be quarantined at the cabin.  No one around and lots of projects to work on.

The boys have been talking about and designing a little place for them to build on the property.  They want somewhere they can sleep and make into their own little cabin.  With LOTS of help from their dad, they got started on their little cabin.
It's been a great homeschool project for them.
Really pretty (low) rainbow after one of the storms.

Two of Adam's priests came home from their missions, so we made signs and joined our ward in a parade for them.

I'm loving church at home.  It's not always perfect, but love that we can feel the spirit during our own little sacrament meetings.
