February

Ava braved the cold water for a polar bear plunge.  It's cold, but the air was in the 60's, so we're not that brave.
First time snowboarding for the kids. We went to Mt. Shasta for a day of lessons.  It was harder than they thought.  The boys loved it; Ava said it was fun, but doesn't really want to do it anymore. :)

Got the zipline done at the cabin; man, that was a TON of work.
Too many helpers.

We sent a log down first and it got stuck in the middle.  Oops.  Had to make some adjustments before sending down any humans.
These kids lived the best life - friends, BB guns, a lake, constant playing.
One of those above mentioned friends ran the Mule off the trail into a tree.....with Ava standing in the back.  She was super scared, obviously.  It could have been much worse, so happy no one got hurt.
More shooting.  These kids are going to have to buy their own .22 ammo.  They have no idea how expensive ammo is right now.
Winter garden - way more greens than we could eat all winter, but man, homegrown lettuce is amazing.
Like most of the western states, California had a SUPER dry winter, so our lakes and rivers are SUPER low.  We took a hike to a bridge that is usually covered with water for a fun afternoon.

Adam and I had the privilege to go to the temple with one of his Priests.  It was such a great session (we hadn't been in over a year due to Covid).  You don't realize how much you miss something until you can't go anymore.
The kids baked a bunch of heart shaped brownies to deliver to neighbors for Valentines Day.
Warm February, so we had some friends over for a pizza night.
Ava and her unique friends. :)
